  1. Hello, we are looking at a heritage building for our distillery location. It currently has plywood floors that need to be addressed. Any opinions on what would be economical that is both practical and meets food safety regulations? Thanks in advance
  2. It's a tough decision, our electricity is fairly expensive so although electric boilers have an enticing entry price, the op costs are high. Gas is available but as you all know there are trade offs with having to have the boiler in a separate fire proof room depending on your fire inspector. We've been looking at Sussman, anybody have direct experience with them? I'm checking into what exactly "heavy electricity" means.
  3. Thanks for all the leads on equipment, keep them coming. We are trying to open a craft distillery on a relative shoe string budget. There are so many "moving parts" it is overwhelming at times.
  4. Does anyone recommend an electric boiler?
  5. Looking to buy used equipment for a small start up. (not from China) 55 to 100 Gallon copper pot still to make Vodka. 55 Gallon still to make Gin. 3 fully jacketed ferment/mash tanks. 1 Two roller grain mill.
