  1. Does anyone have experience working with Speakeasyco for online sales? It is $500 a month, and they get a percentage of sales. Still might be worth it. Just not sure.
  2. I contacted TTB. Only the DSP receiving the spirits TIB needs to apply for the TIB.
  3. I should already know this, but... Does the shipping and the receiving DSP both need to apply for a TIB, or does the receiver apply and both use that approval?
  4. And what is the motivation for the sales team to help generate reorders. If I sold for them I would only focus on new placements. You could get lots of distribution, but loss tons of money doing it. They need to cut that placement amount in half, it would be safer for us and still attractive to the sales team.
  5. Looking for a used 500-1000 gallon pot still, or whiskey still(maybe 4 plate column).
  6. I am surprised how big you guys say the boiler would need to be. I have a 9hp boiler and it handles my 500Gal cooker just fine. My still is only 150 Gal. I am actually planning a similar expansion up to a 500 Gal still and was just planning on a boiler double the size. I guess I need to rethink this.
  7. If most of your product are between 40 and 100 proof, adjust your rinsing spirit to 70. You would need to leave alot in the bottle for it to adjust your bottle proof. I go through maybe 1-2 gal of spirit per 1k bottles. I used to rinse with water and dry, biggest time suck ever.
  8. wouldn't hydrogen peroxide help? probably needed it predistillation.
  9. is it possible to store whiskey in a shipping container? Running out of space in the distillery. If we bought land within 10 miles fenced it and put a locked shipping container on it, would that fly?

  13. Is our tax rate going back to $13.50 at the end of the year? Is there talk of making the cut permanent?
