  1. We were getting sugar from Maui but those days are gone. We are looking to source some from LA. Are there any distillers in the PNW that would be interested in splitting a container or shipping for of some sugar? Please contact me. Roy@Camp1805.com Thanks!
  2. @Dehner Distillery thanks for the link. We were able to get one from a distillery out of California that did't need it.
  3. Bought one. Thank you . @Dehner Distillery I looked on ebay for what you are talking about and Could not find it. Could you put up a link?
  4. I am looking to buy 1 or 2 30" code 7 compatable housings for filtering. Please PM me if you have one that you would like to sell

  6. We fill the heads of ours with hot water until they pool up. once they can hold water for 3 hours or so, we flip em and do the other end. Never had one leak. Roy Camp 1805 Hood River
  7. We fill up the heads of ours. If they hold for a couple of hours we flip em and do the same to the other side. We've never had an issue with doing it this way. I've heard from coopers that when you fill with hot water and dump it that you are bringing down the level of your char by .5 of a degree. So from Char 3 to 2.5.
  8. I'm looking for someone that has one with the auto grain out that has hydraulic lifts for the arms. Please email me roy@camp1805.com I would like to see if we are having similar issues. Thanks! Roy
  9. I think that John Little @ Smooth Ambler had someone from the FDA show up at his door. I was working at a winery here in Washington a few years ago and the FDA showed up flashing a badge....legit and a pain in the ass inspection.
  10. Hey Todd - You really should get down to talk with Lenny. He's got a good thing going down there in BV and is passionate about whiskey.
  11. Can't wood dust explode?
  12. One of our local breweries uses a JET collection system from the woodworking side of things and they love it. Roy Camp 1805
  13. We are filling up the heads of our barrels with filtered water and when they hold we flip em and do the other side. When that holds we load em up with spirit. I forget who taught us that but it works like a champ. Anyone else doing this? Roy
