We are a Farm Distillery located in upstate NY. We are looking to share our significant excess capacity with other distilleries or help others obtain their distillery license to get started building a brand. Since covid we have begun doing contract work for other distilleries as well as bottling and storage. Our New York State Farm Distillery facility has excess production capacity and we would be more than willing to help another distillery or a future distillery produce spirits at a reasonable cost. We have an 800 gallon mash tun and a 300 gallon column whiskey still and can produce somewhere around 80-100 proof gallons of spirits per batch. One or two batches can really kick start your production process. We can also age the spirits on site. Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding a contract distiller for bourbon. I would really like it to be in KY as I think it will be important for marketing purposes in addition to the fact I live there. I have already tried some of the bigger ones without much luck. My intention is to create a new bourbon through contract distilling so I can get things up and running quicker. Eventually, my plan is to do a micro distillery. I realize this isn't as simple as it sounds but I would then be able to concentrate on legal issues, marketing and getting a still up and running. Thanks, Fred

Hello everyone, I've been in the brainstorming stages recently trying to figure out what path I should take. I've always enjoyed a good absinthe. As I read about cost of startup plus time of licensing I have come to the conclusion that I should probably start out with some contract distilling to at least get started and then eventually start my own distillery in the future. Through all the reading im doing, I see a lot of people who started with contracts with foreign distilleries for their absinthe. Are there any domestic distilleries who do contract distilling? I can't seem to find them. I did contact one foreign distillery and they weren't even interested and didn't even give me the time of day. I think maybe they didn't understand my intentions. Anyway, a quick glimpse of what I'd like to do: Start an absinthe label of my own - start a distillery of my own - incorporate that into a restaurant/bar any help with contract distillers would be great. I can find artisan distillers in my area but most are all doing whiskey and gin and I don't even know where to begin finding a domestic contract. Thanks a lot! Jason
