  1. Anyone have a favorite company for custom closures?
  2. Like new CCR engineering T Top corking machine. This unit has been in use for 18 months at our distillery with no issues. Once setup you can do 2000+ corks per hour. We are selling because we have upgraded our bottling line to an completely automatic unit. This unit cost us $5500 new. Selling for $4000 firm. Please email dave@watersheddistillery.com with interest or questions. Thanks Dave
  3. We have our Closure design ready, we are just looking for a company to make them! We are wanting a ceramic closure with a natural cork Any recommendations?
  4. Hi all, I'm working on a custom package - bottle and stopper are unique. I'm running into an issue with tamper-proofing the bottle. Because of the unique shape of the bottle and stopper we won't be able to use a shrink band or paper seal. My best guess is that we'll need to use an integrated band with the closure itself. Given the shape and design, it'd probably be best to use a cap like Disaronno uses - the security seal is inside the cap. Anybody know the proper terminology to research this or know how they got it done? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.
  5. Design CCR Model D t-corker with cache barrel. http://designccr.com/corkers/model-d/ I have a very lightly used model D semiauto t-corker for sale, we bought for our initial start up phase but within a few months decided we needed something a little more substantial to pair with our bottling line. These things are basically bullet proof and can function for a long time with little to no maintenance. This unit includes 2 slide trays for the main two cork diameters, 21.5mm and the 19mm shanks. Initially purchased for $6,000 plus an additional slide tray ($350). This unit is practically brand new. Asking $5000 OBO. Thank you, Jesse 1.360.929.4441 jesseparker@distillersway.com
  6. Mahogony T-tops with synthetic cork I have 14,000 new Mahogany T-tops with synthetic corks from Tapi USA lying around from a past project that I won’t be needing anymore. They are factory sealed in in unopened bags of 1000 that weigh about 30 pounds each. -14,000 of them are 19.5mm stopper, the wood top is 36.5mm wide and 14mm thick total height is 33.5mm. (pictured) I’d like to get $.25 each or $250 per bag because I paid twice that for them but honestly, they are just taking up space and I’d be open to any and all offers. If you think these closures may be suitable for you, I would be happy to send some samples out of already opened bags at my expense to make sure they are a good fit for you. One or 2 bags may be worthwhile to ship UPS etc.. but much more than that may be better off LTL. Buyer pays freight. I can arrange shipping FOB 22949, Lovingston, VA, or you can pick up at my brewery. I'll consider paying shipping with your deposit on any reasonable offers PM or Email Chris at Ezcyser@gmaildotcom, thanks.

  8. We have a pallet of bottle we no longer need. These are 750ml with cork finish (12ct case). We also have 1.75 glass bottles with handle (screw top finish/6ct case) and 750ml round bottles (screw top finish/ 12ct case). Asking $15 per case for the cork finish and $3 a case for the screw tops
  9. I've contacted four suppliers about a metal t-top closure for our vodka. Don't care for plastic or painted wood. Ideally looking for silver/stainless steel closure. Also need to purchase at smaller quantities if possible and embossing would be nice if possible. Any suggestions?
  10. Tapi is looking for a Sales Manager for the west coast region. Experience in a distillery or selling product to distilleries is important. Tapi produces and sells bottle closures, specializing in synthetic and natural cork bartop stoppers. For more information or to apply click below APPLY
  11. I've had a very difficult time finding closures for a bottle I purchased. I need a t-top with an 18mm shank and a 27mm top diameter. I've contacted the following suppliers and have not been able to find anything in this size: Paulson Jelinek Tapi Various wine suppliers (e.g., Carolina, Pacific Winemaking) Can anyone recommend other suppliers? I'd really like to avoid the custom route. I know these closures exist! Thanks!
