Hey everyone, I'm a chemical engineering undergrad at the CO School of Mines, heading into my senior year. Fell in love with spirits when barbacking at the revamped Union Station downtown. I became an ADI member in 2015 when using their resources for a semester project on spirits production . While tasting new whiskeys is a passion, I moreso find the process and distillation aspect of whiskey production fascinating, as well as the new aging technologies being developed. Seeking to gain further knowledge and make connections throughout the industry, ultimately securing an internship or job experience within the spirits industry. Hi Folks, I'm heading out west to Colorado for a family vacation and was hoping to stop by a couple distilleries for a tour. It will be a family vacation, so I won't be able to take up too much time. I was hoping for some help on where to go. We are flying into Denver and driving/staying in Colorado Springs. I've got a few hours to kill in Denver, so we were hoping to swing by a distillery near a nice lunch spot. Any suggestions? I'll have the possibility of a more in depth tour in Colorado Springs, as I might be able to get out with the brother in law. Thanks for your help. Hope to see some of you soon. Todd

Most of the sessions we attended in Denver did not include any handouts (e.g. - copies of the PowerPoint or slide presentations). In a few of the sessions, the speaker(s) indicated that these would be available on the ADI site after the conference. Does anyone know where???? Thanks!!

Hello everyone, my name is Ara Gregorian. Just wanted to introduce my brother (Arin Gregorian) and I to the board. We are in the works to start a craft distillery here in San Diego, CA. I will be coming up to Denver, CO during the week of 8/22/13 and 8/27/13 for the first annual Fermentation Festival on Saturday and Sunday. I have already reserved 2 spots with Stranahans on Friday and I was wondering if there are any other craft distillery members who are on the board who may want to set up tours and tasting sessions. I have used the ADI Map to locate the local distillers but I'm having some trouble finding distilleries with updated websites with tour information. I am setting something up with Mitch at Downslope Distilling but that's about it. Any advice on other distillery locations and tours with updated information will help. Thank you, -Ara
