We need high capacity of our equipment for our plant (we want to produce big amount of liters per day on our plant). I think you can help me with this because I am not an expert in this area. 4. Will be grateful for any information.
  5. I represent one of the founders of a California Craft Distillery (License Type 74) who is leaving the business and is considering selling some or all of their shares. The distillery is profitable and located in a beautiful California coastal town with excellent tourist infrastructure. The distillery has a fully functioning management team, the tasting room is up and running, a talented and enthusiastic distiller is on board, wholesale and retail channels are in place. Possibility to acquire either a minority interest in this distillery or a controlling majority, so this could be a possibility for a silent investor, or someone who wants to be hands on and fully involved in growing and scaling this business. For more information, please email me at omnisquare@gmail.com.
  6. Surf City Still Works is the first distillery to operate in Huntington Beach. We have a clear vision of where we are headed and what our values are, and we are looking for a new team member who is just as excited as we are about our future. We treat everyone with respect and work continuously to cultivate a work environment where we can all grow and thrive together. Since we are a Craft Distillery and do not operate a kitchen at our current location, we are limited to serving 1.5oz per person unless it is a private event by CA law. We will be building out a kitchen in our new location which will lift the 1.5oz limit. Our team is a cohesive and supportive group who has an aligned focus on our future & vision. We have been fortunate enough to be the first to distill and bring craft spirits to Huntington Beach, and we aim to continue educating those in the greater Orange County area about the craft spirits industry. We believe a rising tide lifts all boats so we have cultivated a positive and supportive relationship with surrounding distilleries, who would otherwise be called our "competition". The successful candidate will be someone who is excited about our growth, has values that are aligned with ours, has an interest in the craft cocktail culture, and is willing to learn the skills required to prepare and make the cocktails on our menu. The successful candidate will also have strong guest service skills and previous experience as a bartender and/or bar back. The role you will be applying for will impact our operations greatly. You will assist our head bartender in a way that allows the cocktail making process to flow smoothly and efficiently. In the meantime, we will train you on how to make our cocktails and the culture behind the craft cocktail world so that you will be fully prepared to handle shifts on your own. Our customers come in with the expectation that their cocktail(s) will be spectacularly made and Instagram-worthy (kind of kidding on the IG part, but not really...). The skills we will teach you will allow you to meet their expectations every time, and then some. Responsibilities: - Assisting the head bartender in prepping, garnishing, clearing, cleaning, etc. - Delivering cocktails to guests - Closing out guests in a timely fashion (we use Square, which is really easy to use) - Knowledge of our cocktail menu to better assist the head bartender - Help with opening & closing tasks as needed Requirements: - Great people skills - Upbeat personality - Open availability - At least 1 year prior experience as a bartender - Knowledge of craft spirits & experience in creating craft cocktails a plus Potential Roles this position could lead to: - Head Bartender - Mixologist - Tasting Room Manager - Distilling Assistant - Warehouse Manager Please respond to info@surfcitystillworks.com with you resume and a brief note about how you see yourself in this position. Cheers!

We are seeking individuals who can either consult or work for us to purchase all equipment necessary to distill the spirits that we want to make as well as possessing the ability to make said spirits. 12. My Name is Shannon Jackson and I am currently the Public Relations Manager for the Black Bear Distillery. I have been with the Black Bear since it opened in 2014 and have played many roles leading up to my current position of Public Relations Manager. My duties include scheduling tastings and tours, maintaining social media sites, preparing Press packets, as well as handling all event and media relations and planning. My past experience in the craft spirit world would include personal trips and tastings, then a job in sales developing new clients and taking care of their orders, and then brand ambassador which added events and social media to the list. For the most part, I still assist with those roles. My success in this arena led to a more statewide presence and eventually the role of Social Media Ambassador at the ADI Conference that will be held next March in Denver. I have a huge passion for Craft Spirits and try to absorb all the knowledge I can. I am reaching out to see if I can assist you on any level with any of my skills. Please contact me at Jacksonshannon82@live.com

  15. Jump in head first - Operating, 4 year old New Jersey craft distillery for sale, asking $450,000. * We're on a month-to-month lease - you can extend that and continue operating or move our operation wherever you want to take it. * We make critically-acclaimed rums, whiskeys (bourbon, rye, and other), and brandy - all from scratch, in-house and with unique flavors and stories that truly stand out in the marketplace. * After paying off debt (included in asking price) the business would be profitable at current scale. * Lots of upside for someone with vision to grow and expand the operation. * Owner selling for personal reasons - more than happy to stay involved indefinitely as a consultant or part-timer. * Partial seller-financing may be available. * Sale includes everything in the distillery and intellectual property: All distilling equipment, brands, recipes, customer lists, wholesale accounts (approx. 30 strong accounts & another 100 occasional accounts), delivery mini-van, tasting room furniture & equipment, and spirits inventory (Approx. 300 proof gallons of rum; 500 proof gallons whiskey; 175 proof gallons of brandy aging in barrels; 1,100 bottles of packaged, ready-to-sell inventory). Happy to start a discussion and ready to move quickly - contact James at njdistillery4sale@gmail.com or call 267-496-7739.

  20. I have a distilling efficiency question - although our ferments are going well, and according to our calculations our mash should be about 6.5%, we are only get 3.5 gallons of alcohol out of the still, including heads, hearts, and tails, of the available 6.5 gallons. Let me show you the details. Corn Whiskey Original Gravity - 1.065 Final Gravity - 1.015 Our calculator tells us our starting abv is 6.56%. When we run we get about 6 gallons of 100 proof (heads and tails) and if we run out the tails to the end we get about 1.5 gallons of 60 proof tails. By my calculation we are only getting about 3.5 gallons of our original 6.5 gallons out of the still? We are using a 100 gallon column still, distilling on the grain, and agitating the whole time. What can we be doing better?
  21. Owner considering all offers as well as owner financing! In this idyllic and growing Central Washington agricultural town, this artisan distillery creates a variety of products which include, whiskey, moonshine, gin, vodka, grappa, ouzo and many brandies and liqueurs. These premium quality products are made by hand using locally grown fruits and grains. While creating unique recipes, they are making spirits of exceptional quality and still capturing the essence of the fruits and grains. This distillery holds a craft distillery and a distiller/rectifier license in Washington.Craft distilleries in Washington state are growing strong. Washington state passed a bill in 2008 creating the Artisan Distillery license, which is for distillers who are producing 150,000 gallons or less of its own spirits per calendar year. At least half of the raw materials used in the production must be grown in Washington. It allows a craft distillery to contract and sell distilled spirits to holders of distillery licenses, manufacturer’s licenses and grower’s licenses. Consumers are growing more interested in this niche industry. Liquor is recession proof and it is profitable. Now is your chance to get in and ride the distillery growth wave. Besides the distillery and tasting room in Washington, the owner has invested in a second location in Oregon in order to focus on growth and expansion. There is extensive inventory, equipment and recipes including a recently purchased copper pot still. Owner is considering all offers as well as offering financing. Act now! Alek 509 280-9734

  23. Distillery Opportunity in Hawaii Property + Natural Water Source + Beverage MFG SUP, Hilo, Hawaii PROPERTY OVERVIEW The Vision: In 1993, the owner secured a special use permit (SUP), allowing the development of a distillery, brewery, or specialty (non- alcoholic) manufacturing and bottling company on just under 7 acres. The Hawaiian property takes advantage of an existing natural artesian water source flowing from the slopes of Mauna Loa, pumped to the property from an existing well. This permit set the wheels in motion for the vision: a Micro Distillery or Micro Brewery with product blended with pristine Hawaiian water. The vision is complete with a visitor center, beer garden and tasting room to capitalize on the exploding local and visitor population. In 2012, HB1925 was signed into law as ACT 302. In summary: Allows holders of Class 1 manufacturer liquor licenses to sell beer, wine, or other specified liquor manufactured or distilled on the licensee's premises from fruit or other products grown in the State, in any quantity to wholesalers in original packages or for private use and consumption. (HB1925 CD1) This allows for direct sale of alcohol on the manufacturer’s premises. The alcohol must use any quantity of locally grown product. See: http://www.capitol.h...billnumber=1925 Today, you can realize this vision. Strategically located, abundant, and fertile Hawaiian land Access to natural Hawaiian artisanal water source Special Use Permit Friendly business climate for direct sales for private consumption, and sale to wholesaler Unique opportunity for “Made In Hawaii” branding INVESTMENT HIGHLIGHTS Special Use Permit: Special Permit 842 (Docket No 93-000003) and subsequent amendments allow the expanded development of a brewery, distillery, soft drink bottling facility and related improvements. Due to a non-compete agreement with Hawaiian Springs Water Co., the bottling of pure drinking water is not a permitted use. However, soda or flavored water and beverages remain as permitted uses. Strategic location: The Property is located just 8 miles from Hilo International Airport and The Port of Hilo just off of Highway 11 which serves as the main roadway connecting Hilo with Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and its estimated 1.35 million visitors per year. Tourism Appeal: According to the National Park Service, visitors spent in 2010 an estimated $122 million at the National Parks and the surrounding communities on the Big Island - $88.26 million came from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Made in Hawaii: Hawaii is world-renown with products distributed throughout the US mainland and Asia. Some of the many products from Hawaii that have enjoyed the "Made in Hawaii" success include Kona coffee, Deep-Sea Bottled Water, Natural Artesian Bottled Water, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, and the growing number of micro-brews and distilleries in the State. Large level lots: The design of sub-divided lots promote building design efficiencies. Taxes: General Excise taxes are lower on the island of Hawaii when compared to Oahu. Freight costs: Island-to-island shipping companies currently offer reduced rates for shipping back empty containers such as kegs and other reusable containers. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION Location: Kea'au, Hawaii (Border of Hilo & Kea'au) Area: Lot 9722-A - 2.410 acres, Lot 9722-B - 2.995 acres Zoning: FA-2a, Family Agriculture Special use permit: BREWERY, DISTILLERY, WATER AND SOFT DRINK BOTTLING FACILITIES AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS Building height allowance: 45 feet, commercial building allowing for tall column stills, fermentation tanks and so on. Setbacks: 30 feet - front, 30 feet - rear, 20 feet - side Flood zone: Flood Zone X, 500-year flood http://www.sothebysr...-keaau-hi-96797 http://www.sothebysr...-keaau-hi-96749 - email: bigislanddistillery@gmail.com or use contact on websites
