  1. Our New York State Farm Distillery facility has excess production capacity and we would be more than willing to help another distillery or a future distillery produce spirits at a reasonable cost. We have an 800 gallon mash tun and a 300 gallon column whiskey still and can produce somewhere around 80-100 proof gallons of spirits per batch. One or two batches can really kick start your production process. We can also age the spirits on site. Your also welcome to participate and oversee the distilling process or leave the whole process up to us. Please contact us for more information. Send Text or call 518-225-3909.

  3. My name is Michael, and I'm the Distiller for Lifted Spirits Distillery in Kansas City, MO We've recently obtained our federal DSP and I thought it time to say hello! I've been a long time reader of this forum and have enjoyed reading about everyone's journeys. You have all been a great source of inspiration to me and a huge help along the way. I'm very happy to have officially joined the forums and look forward to getting to know the rest of you better. Best, Michael
  4. Like many I’ve been following the boards for a couple years now working on opening our dream microdistillery. I’ve learned so much from these forums and they've been a huge resource for us. I’ve tried to give back when possible, and will try to contribute more and more as I learn from my experiences. I’ve never done a formal introduction and it’s been long overdue. My wife and I are currently waiting patiently for our DSP to be approved (143 days to be exact) for Doc Porter’s Distillery. We will be a grain to grain distillery located in Charlotte, NC around the corner from a couple great breweries (Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and Sugar Creek Brewing Company) and a soon to be distillery as well (Great Wagon Road Distilling Company). We're going to start out with a 100% NC wheat vodka and then move into whiskey and gin with locally sourced ingredients. Renovations have been creeping along and equipment should be arriving soon. If all goes well we hope to be in production in April. If any of you are in Charlotte and want to check on our progress drop me a line.

  6. I've been a lurker on this site for some time and figured it was time to join and actually participant. By trade I am a second generation beekeeper and I'm currently looking into opening up a commercial distillery in Sacramento, CA. Well I should clarify, I've decided that's what I'm going to. While I'm early in the process I anticipate utilizing honey in my products as well as taking full advantage of my agricultural network. -Frank
  7. Hi All, I am part of a company that has just finished federal and state licensing. Finishing up our pre COLA and COLA now. Excited to launch into the market place! Cheers, Casey
  8. New member to the professional distilling world. The new venture is located in the Virginia Highlands and shall be a small craft operation. Currently in the licenseing phase, construction and capital aquasition. Was hired to be the master distiller for another venture but the owner could not pass muster under the licenseing requirements. So, if you want do right, do it yourself. So depending on funding, this distillery will be in operation within 6 to 12 months. Seeking limited partners to speed up the funding process, but either way it's happening. Looking foward to meeting and interacting with all my fellow members.
