I am an accountant with many years or accounting and project management experience and work for a small CPA firm in Denver, CO. I also have a love of whiskey and would like to create a niche for myself in the distillery industry. To do that, I need to start working with some distilleries. Full Time Sales Person for Santa Fe Spirits Santa Fe Spirits is in search of a sales person looking to contribute and grow with the company over the long term. The successful applicant will join an exciting and positive team, with a great working environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-motivated, mature and a well-rounded sales professional with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You will work with a diverse and committed team and have excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong focus on sales and marketing in the craft beverage industry. This position requires the ability to establish and foster client relationships, prioritize workloads, provide timely responses and close sales. Competitive compensation package comprised of a base salary and commissions. Responsibilities: Establish, foster and build client relationships Field incoming requests for sales as well as proactively search out new sales opportunities. Provide customer advice, information and quotations Selling direct to retail resellers (liquor stores, hotels, restaurants, bars) Collaborate on marketing collateral, branding, advertising strategies, tradeshow Ability to manage current and future part- to full-time sales associates Must be able to use car for sales travel (compensation available) Geographic focus will be CO Some weekend work will be required Qualifications: Previous successful sales experience required Must be comfortable entering customer data on a daily basis Prior experience with CRM (customer relationship management) software a plus Familiarity with spreadsheets, Microsoft office a plus Experience in a sales sector related to brewing, distilling, craft beverage, food and related industry preferred. Hi Folks, I'm heading out west to Colorado for a family vacation and was hoping to stop by a couple distilleries for a tour. It will be a family vacation, so I won't be able to take up too much time. I was hoping for some help on where to go. We are flying into Denver and driving/staying in Colorado Springs. I've got a few hours to kill in Denver, so we were hoping to swing by a distillery near a nice lunch spot. Any suggestions? I'll have the possibility of a more in depth tour in Colorado Springs, as I might be able to get out with the brother in law. Thanks for your help. Hope to see some of you soon. Todd

Hello ADI World! I am located in Denver, Colorado and am in the very early stages of getting a business plan put together for a micro distillery using the clean, clear, great tasting Colorado mountain water and all natural and organic locally sourced grains. That's the goal at least. There are many, many questions I have regarding not just the best way to make the product itself (matter of personal and my close friends tasting oppinions for now), but also bottling, distribution, marketing, sourcing feedstock, and everything else that goes with running a succesful business. Thanks for having me in your "club" and I really look forward to hopefully contributing in some way to the industry. SS
