Are there any specific requirements or limitations on the shipping method when doing a transfer in bond? I understand the permits and reporting associated with a transfer in bond and have received spirits, but have never shipped full barrels. Can this be done LTL? Full tuck load? What about a rental truck or personal vehicle? Is there a section that discusses the requirements or limitations?

Is it legal to do a TIB on bottled products? Distillery A receives a barrel, via a TIB, from Distillery B and bottles the contents of the barrel. Distillery A now wants to send bottled products back to Distiller B. Who is responsible for paying the tax? Can "A" TIB it back to "B?" Thanks.

I am preparing to submit my first transfer-in-bond forms and according to the form I have to snail mail them in triplicate (!). I see nowhere on the TTB site (and nothing on these forums) to submit electronically, but then, I am hoping I am just being new and blind. Can anyone confirm? If there is a way to submit online, I would sure love to get the link. Thanks.
