We are looking around for used 5 & 10 Gallon barrels. I found a company offering 45% discount on all their barrels. That has me worried. It sounds too good to be true? oakwoodbarrels.com What do you think? Does anybody have experience with Oak Wood Barrel Company out of Lexington KY? What were they like to deal with? Is it me OR does this look shonky? -

FOR SALE: We over ordered and have 24 brand new, wrapped 30 gallon American White Oak, unbranded, Char 3 barrels made by Barrel Mill for sale. We paid $240 each for them plus 538 in shipping (so we have $262 ea. in them). We are asking $199 each. They are 12 to a pallet and still wrapped so we'd like to sell in sets of 12. Also, we have 7 used 30 gallon Bourbon barrels and 3 used Rye whiskey barrels for sale, freshly dumped. Asking for $150 ea. Shipping is from FOB 29403. We have 10- used one time -15 gallon #3 char fresh dump bourbon barrels for sale. They were made by The Barrel Mill and are in excellent shape. We try to sell as an entire pallet of 10. We are asking $165 each if you take all-- shipping from 29403. The barrels typically weigh about 14-18 lbs more after dumping. Thanks for looking.
