OldSpye
Another couple supporters this week. Congressman Derek Kilmer (D-WA6) because the 3rd co-sponsor for HR 4083. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) joins his Montana counterpart in becoming the 3rd co-sponsor for S 2169.
Jake Holshue
Yeah John Walsh is also starting the Craft Distillers Caucus too in the Senate. Tester came down here too, he's an old farm boy who appreciates distilleries creating value added products from local ingredients. Jake
OldSpye
That's great work, Jake. I'd be delighted if I could get any of the local NJ legislators to even listen for 30 seconds. These guys have been entrenched WAY too long. I'm starting to think that what little time I have for politics over the next year will be spent sending Chris Smith to the Congressional Old Age Home. OldSpye
A hearty shout-out to Congresssman Congressman Nick Rahall (D-WV3) for becoming the fourth co-sponsor of H.R. 4083! Thanks to the Congressman and remember, folks - contact your legislators and get them on board!
captnKB
anyword as to an update on this bill. I searched online and it said that H.R.4083 had died in congress and S.2169 has been referred to finance comittee. Is this bill something we should still be writing to our congressmen about? bradocaster
I just received a call from senator Rob Portman's office saying that he was going to be a co-sponsor of S1562. Good news!
