Jonathan Forester
Does anyone have any leads on a new, low pressure (15psi), 400,000 btu propane steam boiler for our brewery/distillery? We are having a little difficulty locating one locally. It's no problem finding 1.5 million btu unit in propane or oil, but we don't need anything like that. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Rum
Columbia might have one to fit your needs. Take a look at this line of commercial boilers. http://www.columbiaboiler.com/commercial/GL_L/ Click on the pdf link for specs. One of them is right at about 400,000 btuh. Jonathan Forester
I want to thank everyone who emailed me with info. We had just about made up our minds on which propane boiler to get when the local gas and oil company made a very good deal with us and we decided to get an oil steam boiler. It is more economical in the long run and leaves us with better options as we grow. (And growing is happening fast. We aren't even open yet and have increased ten fold so far.) Basically this was one of the last few hurdles and we're in the home stretch.)
