Used 330 Gallon IBC's for fermenting?

Just to give some feedback on my IBC experience and temp regulation. I've got three 330 gallon IBC's with about 300 gallons of corn mash in each. After the first 3-4 days of fermenting I found it difficult to maintain temperature in the tanks without keeping my building heat very high. I purchased a couple of 1000W titanium 'stick' aquarium/fish-pond heaters on Amazon and they work amazingly good at keeping the tanks right where I want them. They can be adjusted from 60 to 90 degrees. Just make sure you suspend them just off the bottom and not buried in any mash sediment (especially if you are doing ongrain mashing like me). I've also wrapped the IBC's in cheap mylar survival blankets and some old blankets. Now I can turn the building down to 55 at night. If I was to do it again I'd get the controllers with the built in temperature read out.
