MittenBound Posted April 6, 2014 Share Posted April 6, 2014 Hi all, Wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone who posts on the forum. The information you provide is amazingly helpful. I'm currently living in Colorado, but looking to move back to Michigan to start operations within the next couple years either in the Metro Detroit or Ann Arbor area. I did have one question that I have yet to uncover in the threads regarding facilities- I've come across a location that I think would be ideal for craft distilling, but it has a loft living space over what I would make an office area and perhaps a portion of the tasting room... Could anyone tell me the limitations on this setup? Would the TTB allow a distillery to go into a facility like this? Thanks again for everything you guys post! Michigan is booming with distilleries, you should pop into MSU and check out the distilling program they are growing over there if you havent already. Cheers!
