It would obviously have to come in rolls and be flexible. Im not sure what regulations are out there as far as insulating the outside of a pot. Thanks! Dehner Distillery Posted August 25, 2015 Share Posted August 25, 2015 If the tank is insulated with the insulation be covered up with any sort of decorative skirt? Dehner Distillery Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 Use regular house insulation, the 6" pink stuff with the paper back. Don't get the earth friendly stuff, get the good itchy stuff! It really works great! Trust me. We use it up to 350-400f. With no problems what so ever. Problem is, I would have to build a top and bottom for the skirt with that, and that gets complicated.
