Dehner Distillery
You will find more consistency in your product if liquid form is used. Also, do your batches by weight and you can never go wrong.
Dsking416
Thank you. I was hoping to make my own extracts from the real deal but I completely get your just.
stillwagon
I use solid spices, making my own extracts. It is challenging to remain consistent, but the results are far superior.
Salishseaorganicliqueurs
Dsking416, We are using Mountain Rose Herbs for our allspice liqueur that will hopefully be coming out for christmas. If Mountain Rose doesn't work for you I would check out Starwest Botanicals or The San Francisco Herb Company. All three provide really high quality ingredients. https://www.mountainroseherbs.com http://www.starwest-botanicals.com/ http://sfherb.com

Any suggestions for its preparation would be helpful.
