I would take a sample and run it through some activated coconut shell carbon and see if your definition of perfect changes. :)

Some rums can come over very funky and may need to be carbon filtered (if not barrel aging) to clean them up a bit. If yours came over perfect then bottle and enjoy.

Let us know what you do and how it comes out.
