  1. I think you guys may be confusing the Enolmatic with the Enolmaster. The Enolmaster is the heavy-duty version, if i just saw the Enolmatic online i probably would skim over the Enolmaster. That said, the Enolmaster with the attached filter housing has been working great for us.
  2. This term maybe more common in the wine industry since producing whiskies in the US demands new barrels each time, but a neutral barrel is a barrel already used 2-3 times so there isn't much oak flavor left in the barrel.
  3. Hi All, I am looking for some(5-10) 55 gal or equivalent in 30 gal Neutral Barrels in the North East ideally the finger lakes area of NY. Something that should be simple to find is proving to be more difficult, any help would be very much appreciated! Matt Head Distller 1911 Established
  4. Thanks for the reply's! Right now I am in contact with some of these people. It seems as each craft distillery has a secret to their aging process as it is hard to get into their rackhouses in tours. Also I prefer not to store barrels on top of each other without racks to try and save the structure of the barrel and minimize leaks as much as possible.
  5. Hello All, We now have added capacity in our Distillery and are looking for contract distilling business. All of our spirits are made from apples grown on our 100 year old orchard, based in central New York. We control the entire process from "tree to bottle". Apples are a high quality and unique base ingredient that provides the same qualities in the finished spirit. Right now our spirits line consists of apple based vodka and gin however, we would be happy to work with anyone regarding unique recipes and flavors. You can contact us at distillery@1911spirits.com 1911 Spirits
  6. Does anybody know of any reliable companies specializing in rack-house design. Currently we are only a vodka/gin distillery but are looking to start a pretty significant expansion which will include barrel aging. This will be our first rackhouse and we want to make sure we do it right! Is this specialization common place in the industry or are we over-thinking it? Thanks Matt 1911 Spirits
