  1. Yes but that still is direct fire only this still has a 3/4 copper on the inside for a heat sour you can heat with steam, forced hot water or veg oil or direct fire the still is in the original crates because I never unpacked it I had finished building a 250 gallon still my self before this one was finished I was going to use this one in another part of my distillery but decided that the money would be better spent on other equipment

  3. You don't in order to be called a whiskey it has to touch an oak barrel you can distill right thru the barrel but you have to have an aging statement on the front of the label other then if you does not touch a barrel it's only a moonshine

  12. My molasses comes in 3100 pound totes I bought a 40 x 40 digital scale made a L-spout out of inch and a half copper pipe to attach to outlet on the bottom of tote I took a 40 x 48 inch piece of plywood screw to a pallet put the scale on it make sure scale is on before you put tote on lift with fork lift up to tank molasses is 12 pound to a gallon so if you need say 50 gallon minus 600 pounds of 3100 = 2500 I paid $300 for my scale the only pump I could find worth buying was $5500 I saved $5200
