I'm new to distilling. I bought an old copper pot distiller. The pot is in good condition. But, being nudged away in some old cellar for too long, there are a lot of scratches and blackening. I was thinking on polishing, but then my elder brother recommended me an electrostatic powder coating service for painting the copper. He said that the coating the exterior will strengthen the pipes. I'd like to get more information on this. I'd appreciate your suggestions.
