  2. Thank you everyone for your responses. It was actually a mistake that we made here at ground level. We were using a tube that was not rated to handle 190 proof alcohol. We were getting traces of the rubber in the alcohol and that was leaving the blue tint. Make sure everything you're using is rated for high proof alcohols.. Thank you for your help!!
  3. Plain translucent blue. It appears cloudy as well.
  4. We've cut it down in smaller containers and also used different sources of water to make sure that's not the problem.
  5. We bought 100% wheat NGS and diluted it down to 80 proof with some RO water. We ended up getting a slightly blue color when we proofed it down. Does anyone know what might cause this?
  6. AK2, I appreciate your post. I can only imagine how many former and current Corson customers would like to post but can't for various reasons. While the welding conversation was educational and helpful it originated because of the discussion around why the Corson still blew up. There are distilleries out there still experiencing negative and often irreparable damage to their businesses due to Corson's business practices.
  7. Well we ordered our 400 gallon distilling system from Corson Distilling over a year ago... and to no ones surprise... no still. Due to legal proceedings taking place I cannot comment in detail. But if you have already ordered from them... get a lawyer now. If you haven't ordered yet and are considering going with Corson, make sure to read the ADI comments and re-read them so that you are up to speed on what to expect (or not expect). Unfortunately, ADI had taken down the comments about Corson when we were doing our research. Feel free to email me for information. I will share the facts of what we have experienced. I am also including the link below to an article in the Idaho Statesman which really sheds light on the business practices and dangers associated with the products if you haven't been convinced by the comments posted in ADI. 8. Thank you. I was hoping to hear at least one positive comment. How long ago did you get your still?
  9. Thank you for your response. I've seen a lot of the negative comments I was just hoping those were rare instances. It seems like those instances are starting to be the majority of reviews though.
  10. We are in the process of opening a distillery in Albuquerque, NM and ordered a 400 gal Corson system. We have started to see a lot of negative articles come out about Corson since we made the down payment and we were curious if those were rare occurrences or if its the norm. Can you please contact me with any negative or positive experiences with Corson. Thank you Frank Holloway (505)550-1144 Frank@HollowSpirits.com
