  1. Hi I have a new controller with an application for android
  2. I have moonshine distiller with 250L tank.
  3. Hello, So I would like to show you something I've been working on. This is my SPP which produce and use in my columns This is a video of my client who used SPP The special shape of our technical springs is a result of many months of experiments and endurance tests. Our research aim was to determine the optimal ratio between the resolution and the efficiencyof distillation. Our technical springs cannot be too large since it causes a great loss of resolution, but also increases distinctly the energy demand that is needed to complete wetting. However, they cannot be also too small since it can cause a strong decrease of a distillation column which results in flooding with the low heat capacity and a general decline in productivity. A unique feature of the rings offered by our company is a free space between the coils thanks to which one can develop the liquid and gas interfacial area likewise decrease flow resistance. Another important aspect is the geometry and method of spring coiling. Improper selection of these parameters may cause a drop in resolution up to tens of percent! . Below we present the technical characteristic of the rings: 1. material – acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 304 2. specific weight – 880 g/dm3 3. dimensions – 4,4 x 5,5 x 0,24 mm 4. specific surface (p/v) – 1900 dm2/dm3 5. free volume - 0,89 6. maximumheat load – 115 W/cm2 7. HETP – 1,6 mm Over the years, acid resistant stainless steel (SS) has driven copper out of ratification industry. The advantages of steel are better chemical resistance and neutrality in aggressive environments. These features make this metal a perfect material that meets the requirements of the food industry. Another important parameter, which is worth spending a few words, is the maximum heat load. It decides on heating powers on which the distillation column should work. In normal, domestic conditions total electrical equipment load does not exceed 4,000 watts. The same is true with the actual power of the popular gas-stools. Therefore, the rings that are offered by us are optimized for 1500-4000W span. It is good to know that the packing of column works optimally when well-moistened. To achieve this one should lead to so–called column flooding. To initiate this phenomenon there is adequate power output required. The maximum heat load is a parameter that allows you to determine easily the appropriate capacity for our column. To do that, one is to multiply the cross sectional area value calculatedincm2. Another important parameter is the HETP (Height Equivalent to the Theoretical Plate) that is the amount equivalent to the one theoretical plate. In the theory of rectification, it is assumed that the concept of theoretical plate is a part of the column, in which there is a single act of distillation (i.e., evaporation and condensation). This can also be likened to a simple distillation process carried out by using a boiler and radiator. Please note that the accuracy of the separation of the liquid components depends on the number of such isolated acts of distillation. The more theoretical plates a column has, the better. For example, for a 15% solution of water and ethanol one needs about 6 simple distillations to reach the spirits of 93%. If we had to do this with the pot and the condenser, it would take a lot of time andenergy. Rectifying column packed with 6 theoretical plates allows to get the same thing in one process, instead of six. The diagram below shows what height of popular packing coning do we need for our column to work with a resolution of 6 theoretical plates: As can be seen, ceramic packing works poorly in the domestic column. Admittedly, in the high areas you can insert a column of 150 cm aspirator which allows to result is 10 shelves onceramics and spirits over 94%. However, it is poor quality - with a lot of pollution. The table next to the chart shows how the increasing concentration of ethanol from each of the subsequent act ofdistillation. Analyzing it, you come to the conclusion that the 23 shelves are sufficient to reach maximum concentration. You should be aware of that the high concentration (high percentages) do not entirely transfers into purity. The yeast pitching (also called mash) is over 200 substances, that should be got rid of. Generally they can be divided into light fractions (aldehydes, acetone, ether) and heavy fractions (fuzle). . Some of them, at a boiling temperature, form azeotropes close to ethanol and are very difficult to remove. Years of experience of researchers have shown that in order to obtain relatively pure alcoholcolumn must have at least 40 theoretical plates. But the truth is, that even if we were up to 100 plates, it still does not get perfect purity. There always remain traces of impurities counted in hundredthsor thousandths of one percent. Often they remain outside the scope of the average consumer taste odor. Just such nuances determine the quality of the best spirits. These facts clearly show why the height of the shelf (HETP) is so important for small households, domestic columns, which have a small amount of mixture. For the column 100cm ceramics allows for only a few shelves. Using sponges (steel wool) move closer to the 30 shelves. And having the appropriate springs we are to obtain as much as 50-60 shelves. Only such a resolution allowspurification of the most resistant to the substances separately.
  4. Hellooo:) Here is my new column If you have any questions please write 1. WIRLESS REMOTE CONTROL A wireless remote control connects to the control unit with Bluetooth technology so you don’t have to be in the same room, or even the same building, to control my column For ease of operation the remote control has a 4.3’-inch high resolution touch screen with clear, intuitive menus and settings. If you’re just starting distilling, choose the easy mode with fully automatic distilling/rectification. If you’re more advanced, you can set all the main parameters yourself to experiment and achieve the final distillate that suits you best. The remote control’s rechargeable battery will work for hours without recharging. However, even if the remote control runs out of power, distillation/rectification will continue. 2. BOILER The boiler, with its generous 50 l wash capacity, is our own design, just like the still’s other components. The main boiler features are as follows: The heating element comprises two 2,000 W heaters. They are made of acid resistant steel for years of reliable operation. The top and the bottom of the boiler are conical. This makes the structure rigid and keeps your still stable (despite its substantial weight and height). The conical shape of the boiler’s bottom, with a liquid outlet at the lowest point, also makes it easy to drain after distilling. The side and top walls feature borosilicate sight glasses so you can easily monitor the boiler fill level and boiling process. Three adjustable feet make it easy to level the still on different types of floor (leveling is a prerequisite for the correct rectification process). Handles help you move the boiler if required. Each boiler is Insulated with demountable, washable fabric for power saving. 3. DISTILLATION/RECTIFICATION COLUMN (SPP COLUMN) The SPP column has a temperature sensor to automatically control operating parameters for best alcohol quality. The column, which is insulated with demountable and washable fabric, consists of two modules connected by a threaded SMS coupling. This means the still can be assembled in a few seconds without a wrench. The modules are well packed for delivery to protect against damage or SPP spillage in transit. Spiral Prismatic Packing (SPP) SPP is the heart of each SPP column. It’s a reflection of our quality that, as well as making SPP for our own stills, we supply professional-quality prismatic packing that’s valued worldwide by others who want the best packing material. The specially-shaped ”springs”, both stainless steel and copper that make up our packing are the result of many years’ experience and months of testing. Our objective was a spring that optimizes the balance between the compactness of the column packing and your still’s efficiency of distillation. The springs mustn’t be too big because this reduces “resolution” (by leaving too much void space between the wire that makes each spiral) and increases the energy demand for wetting the SPP. On the other hand, they mustn’t be too small, which reduces the column capacity and (with low heating power) leads to column flooding and general decline in column performance. Due to their special shape and specific size, our SPP optimizes the vapor-liquid contact ratio and reduces the resistance of the rising vapor and descending liquid (condensate). 4. CONTROL UNIT The control unit is the ‘brain’ of the still and responsible for automation of all the still’s distilling processes. The control unit monitors, updates and controls heating elements in the boiler, the fores, hearts and water solenoid valves, temperature measurements from various digital sensors and the status of the column liquid levels. When designing the control unit, we focused on safety so it protects you protection against incidents such as power interruption, lack of cooling water or uncontrolled alcohol boiling in the column. A microcomputer inside the box runs software that has been designed and written exclusively for my column. 5. HEAD UNIT Our head unit is another innovative component. For years we tried to produce a device for automated high-purity spirit collection, but until our current design we hadn’t achieved the desired result. This design has now proved successful and satisfied our, and our customers’, highest expectations. Column may be based on the Nixon-Stone concept, but again, that’s where any similarities with other products end. Our still uses unique solutions. The main features are as follows: A larger collection pan to retain all the fores and prevent them entering the hearts. A specially designed vapor-flow track to maximize the vapor cooling efficiency. Low water usage, for operational cost reduction and natural environment protection. The head has a borosilicate, 360° sight glass for viewing distillation – in itself, a very enjoyable experience! The bottom section, culminating in a convenient quick-connection SMS coupling, is filled with stainless steel SPP, while the top section houses the flooding sensor. Above the head is a condenser made of corrugated stainless steel tubing. It’s a closed coil filled with cooling water, which, due to its design, minimizes the use of cooling water. Alcohol vapors condense on the condenser surface and drip into a fores-collection pan. A solenoid valve is fitted to the side of the head for emptying the pan. When the fores are collected, the ELM system is closed, which ensures the alcohol purity and helps to give a perfect product in the first run. The system is protected by a temperature sensor. When there’s no cooling water or the water flow is too low, the device switches off. Since the head is an open system, it doesn’t produce pressures that could pose a safety hazard.
