  5. Jocko, do you have a model number on that RKI sensor? I used one before that is hard wired then connected to exhaust fans, but missed the wall mount. What is the range on the sensor?
  6. Hi, it's a different yeast strain that you will need to ferment whey along with additional techniques. Are you still on this track?

  8. Saver Glass is nice glass but.....Reading and agreeing about the "surcharges" and delays. Also, we received shrink wrapped pallets which were toppling over inside the tractor trailer that delivered them due to poor packaging on Saver's end. Just about lost 10% of the stock due to this issue. Look for a supplier that provides boxes for their glass. We to a more reliable supplier.

  11. I'm seeing the same thing.....I'm able to pinch off a few here and there but alot of the larger distilleries and those with consistent ordering for barrels have scooped them all up. It would be great if a distillery that has over committed would be kind enough to speak up for some little guys - Otherwise, I'll be cuffed and not able to produce bourbon with the grain we ordered.

  13. Which direction did you choose after selecting this equipment?
  14. Is most of the difficulty with the distilling equipment (kettle/columns/condenser) or do the problems also include the ancillary equipment i.e. the mash tun?
