  2. I suppose it depends if you are willing to sacrifice long term safety and efficiency for short term cost.
  3. Hi Bev Got it thanks, I have emailed the formal quotation with shipping direct to your door, please confirm if you received the email and quotation? Cheers Andy
  4. Sounds like at least a 2 man job and not the safest or quickest process! You know where to come if you would like a cost effective , safe and efficient process using the model 1-DLR-BG Base Gripper Whiskey Barrel Handler Fork Attachment, email me at sales@stclare-engineering.co.uk Cheers Andy
  5. Hi we do not have a US distributor but would be very pleased to deal with you direct, we have a US$ bank account so payment is very easy and we are very experienced at exporting our barrel handlers all over the world. We have been in business since 1959 manufacturing the Grab-O-Matic range of drum/barrel and materials handling fork truck attachments in the UK and export 30% worldwide annually. So what solution did you find to solve your barrel handling issue? Cheers Andy
  6. Hi Golden Beaver Distillery The price is circa £1500 (GBP) approx $2000 for 1 off single barrel unit plus shipping.
  7. Hi, I have just read your post and we have the perfect solution to your problem a Fork Attachment Whiskey Barrel Grabber - see photos attached. We manufacture drum handling and materials handling fork truck attachments in the UK, we also manufacture bespoke handling equipment to suit customer specification. The Special Base Gripper Model 1-DLR-BG Whiskey Barrel automatically garbs the barrel at the base, the 'arms' close around the base of the barrel and when raised hold it securely in position, to release just set to the ground and reverse away. There are no electric or hydraulic connections, this is purely a mechanical process that is very safe, quick and simple to use, we can also offer this unit in a double barrel handler to reduce the handling times even further. Please visit our website www.stclare-engineering.co.uk or direct email me at sales@stclare-engineering.co.uk so we can talk directly about you whiskey barrel handling issues. I look forward to your response in due course. Regards Andy
