  1. Morning, curious as to the asking price with all items listed.... Much appreciated.
  2. Siebel Institute was an excellent course, but it is only offered once a year. The Siebel classes are more theory technical, less hands on which I feel is important if you want to go commercial. I would then follow up with a class like 6&20's or SIPS, can't beat the hands on portion. My.02 cents Take care- Mitty
  3. Good advice Roger. The big 5 market as referred to above is continually expanding. To the extent that distilleries are concentrating on the local market, building the brand and expanding as needed, where needed. Passion is a must, but with every distillery you talk to currently or forecasting an expansion, most start with the big 5. Good luck with your endeavors. Take care, Mitty
  4. Check out the Speidel 32 gallon fermenters on More Beer. Great fermentor on a budget-$150. Stout is great, I have a mash tun from them. Good luck with everything.
  5. Steve, appreciate the help. I was thinking that way as well, but was hoping to see if anyone had a similiar setup to compare with before I went that route. I'll shoot Swede an email and keep ya updated. Thanks again, Mitty
  6. Good evening, The main goal of the original post was to find someone who might be running a large revenoor (250 gallon or so) for some insight into the rather finicky machine....... Running an internal steam coil with a 4" column & condenser, a 250 gallon kettle. Main issues is maintaining a constant temp, once again, very finicky. Any insight appreciated, 1 on 1 email is great, but no automation what so ever on the setup. Happy Holidays All, Mitty
  7. Thanks Mash. I was hoping to get some production rates, gallons per hour, ways to keep it continuous flow & not overheat/crash cool in the column etc., or it just might be a slow machine with no automation what so ever. Another goal was to see what products & typical proofs others have, but I started out vague to get the conversation going, not sure who has a revenoor anymore. Take care, Mitty
  8. Admin- Please delete 2 of 3 of these posts, you pick. Timed out every time I tried to post, yet took 3 times. Thanks, Mitty
  9. Good evening everyone, Quick heads up to my situation, I am currently working at a small distillery utilizing a 250 gallon Revenoor steam coiled still. It has been going well with a primary focus on Brandies/ Whisk(e)y's. Any how, looking for any insight as to how to better control production. It is a finicky little thing, but does kicks out a great little product. I'm interested if anyone on ADI is running something similiar, whether it be electric, steam, or direct fire. Take care, Mitty
  10. Stillman, PM'd ya. Interested if you still have the setup. Take care, Mitty
