  1. Does anyone know a good source for bottle hang tags booklets? I.e. - a print shop that will print up a little booklet hang tag that has a few recipes, etc in it.
  2. Size: 325 to 375Gallon Vessel We will move it via forklift. Single infusion mash only - do not need heating or cooling. Temperature tolerance up to 200F Bottom drain to 2 or 2.5 inch triclamp. Looking for a simple affordable solution. Can be open top or have lid. Looking for a simple affordable solution. Plastic IBC would work great but will not be able to handle the temperatures. Is the cheapest option a stainless trans tote?
  3. We have some excess new charred barrels we are looking to move. We ordered from a few supplies and ended up with more than we need. We will sell at our cost - you arrange pickup or shipping to your facility. We have some 15G, 25G, and 30G. PM for more details.
  4. If you use Permits Online, which I highly recommend, the basic permit is baked into the online forms. I'd recommend getting an account on PONL and starting the application now. For any owner/operator of the business (more than 10% interest I believe) you will need to do a separate OOI Application. Once the OOI Applications are submitted, you get a number(s) which gets plugged into the DSP Permit Application. You can start the applications now and see all the information and documents you will need and then compile it all and only submit when it is 100% done.
  5. We are starting the process of label designs and have a few basic questions for those that have gone through the process: 1. How did you decide whether to brand under one single name (i.e. Joe's Vodka, Joe's Rum, etc) versus individual product names? We are currently looking at a quasi hybrid method of individual product names with their own image along with the distillery logo/name on the bottle? We've seen it done a variety of ways but are wondering how people chose what they did. 2. How much should it cost to have a professional marketing company do a package of 3-4 labels? We are working on labels with a designer friend (who is essentially doing it in his free time on the cheap) but are debating about turning it all over to a company with experience in this area. We're not entirely happy with the results thus far but they aren't horrible either. Just not great. 3. How did you choose between screen printing/paper/gloss/etc for the label itself?
