DistillerMichael Posted November 30, 2018 Share Posted November 30, 2018 The Sonoma Distilling Company is an award winning distillery located in Rohnert Park, California. We are expanding our team and seek to fill a full time production position. Distillery specific training will be provided. Shifts will range from 8 to 10 hours per day; up to 40+ hours per week. Scheduling flexibility is a plus. This is a full time position with benefits following a probationary period. Compensation is based on work experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Distillery Worker for Sonoma Distilling Company is responsible for assisting in all phases of the distilling process (Grain and Material Handling, Mashing, Fermenting, Distilling, CIP/COP, Barreling, Bottling and Packaging, Inventory Management). This individual is a critical team member in the production of our whiskeys and will work closely with the Production Manager to help achieve daily, monthly and yearly production goals. The ideal candidate should have an aptitude to learn, develop, understand, and follow all safety and quality standards and standard operating procedures (SOP's) of the distillery. This candidate must also be willing to regularly clean and maintain all equipment and facilities, be a team player and be ready to work in a fast paced environment. Physical Requirements: Bending/Stooping/Kneeling Climbing Lifting-Heavy (50-70 Lbs) Reaching/Pulling/Pushing Standing and Walking Other Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Must be 21 years of age or older Must pass background check No present or past problems with drugs or alcohol Forklift experience Willingness to work evenings and weekends Any experience with welding, plumbing or commercial electric is a plus but not required. 2+ years experience in a distillery, brewery or winery is required.
