Craft Maltsters Guild
The 2019 Craft Malt Conference will take place on Saturday, February 2nd, and Sunday, February 3rd, at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Registration is now open and is $350 for Craft Maltsters Guild members and $400 for non-members. The registration fee includes access to all seminars and roundtables as well as breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday and the Saturday night awards dinner. Our Saturday night dinner will feature beer from our Collaboration Beers Project as well as the first Malt Cup competition awards. Distillers will have the opportunity to learn more about one of their raw ingredients as well as the impacts of heirloom malts on flavor, the development of organic barley, and the effects of climate change on barley, plus much more! There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with craft maltsters, sensory scientists, researchers, brewers and distillers, and farmers and growers. View the schedule here. The Craft Malt Conference is the premier opportunity for distillers interested in fostering a grain-to-glass product to meet all the upstream suppliers who contribute to the malt in their product.
