Pour Decisions
Here's an interesting scenario. I am in the planning stages of a small distillery in a 1000 sq foot barn on my property. Due to local zoning issues and my preliminary talks with the zoning commission, I will need to seek approval to operate as a home based business as an industrial or commercial zoning variance is out. This will allow me to then apply for federal permit. My question is, at the local level I would not be required to install a fully compliant ADA restroom. Due to space constraints, this is good. But, how is that part viewed by TTB when submitting my layout plan?
Foreshot
TTB doesn't care. You county health department most likely will. Have you spoken to them? If not now would be a good time.
Pour Decisions
Thank Foreshot, I have not spoken to them yet. I did some measuring with my contractor and decided to just ahead and make it ADA compliant.
