Josh
Hi, Anyone have any recommendations on a tube in tube/shell and tube mash cooler that we could use to run grain in mash through during the mash phase to lower temperature? 2 inch internal tube, 3-4 inch external tube is what my initial gut feeling is, probably 10-20 feet length. Used would be great, but new definitely an option as well. Thanks, Josh

MG Thermal Consulting
Too much gap between inner and outer. I have a few suppliers I recommend- They're here in the group. I use them matched to one of my Virga Hybrid Glycol Coolers- saves on overall HP and doubles in the winter replacing the need for chiller HP in the winter. Depends on where you are, a one or two fan unit will do it.

Southernhighlander
Josh, I agree with Mike. That's to much gap between the internal tube and the outer tube. Ours has a 2" inner tube and a 2.5" outer tube. It has over 40' of tubing.

MG Thermal Consulting
To Tango: Looking at the tubes endwise, larger one outside the smaller one, the distance between inner tube radius and outer tube radius,
