Naked Spirits Distillery
I am looking for a 1 liter lab distillation set up to distill obscured alcohol. Anyone have a set up to sell?
Eud
https://pelletlab.com/product/master-distillers-1000ml-distillation-kit/ Was suggested here in the past for small scale tests.
Foreshot
I got these two: https://www.amazon.com/LabStock-Distillation-Glassware-Kit-1000ml/dp/B011CJEBS4 https://www.amazon.com/Mophorn-Magnetic-Stirring-Stirrer-Heating/dp/B075D9RZRW The heating mantle also is a stirrer. I've not had a problems with either one. I swapped out the Grahm condenser for a Leibig so it doesn't have issues with flooding.
Eud
Which Leibig did you get?

I'd seen that one, but the kit you linked above in the kit is the one I ended up getting (pellet labs was out of stock, but this looks exactly like theirs). That kit has a 14/23 ground glass joint for the graham condenser connection. The Liebig you linked is 24/40. Did you connect it with a bushing? Foreshot
Yes - sorry I forgot about that. Don't remember where I got that.
JustAndy
I have the 2L pellet labs still, and it does indeed experience flooding/surging due to condenser design, as well as bumping in the still because there is no stir bar in the heating mantle. The bumping can be resolved by using boiling stones / copper mesh to give it something to nucleate around, and the condenser works but I would be happier with a liebig.
