mendodistilling
I'm looking for some tips on places to see while I'm on the east coast, I'm willing to drive all over to see some nice setups for start up level and professional up to Makers Mark level. I'd like to see some setups of what people consider a successful start up or craft smaller sized distillers. I don't have the money for a million dollar venture so I wanted to kind of see what the little guys were doing to get product out there. I'm interested in Corsair, Makers Mark, caledonia, boubon trail distillleries and tennessee distilleries, would love to get some tips on Nyc / brooklyn area distilleries, etc. I'm going from Texas up to Ohio, then to canada, so anything is fair game north of the carolinas up to canada. If its worth seeing, I'd like to

mendodistilling
Where are some must stop locations for Kentucky and Tennessee? I'm probably going to hit all the bourbon trail big boys and wanted to see corsair and a few others in the area while I was there, just curious what others may have liked in their travels. Thanks! Artisan Still Design
You said North of the Carolinas, but if you pass through South Carolina be sure to check out Six and Twenty Distillery in Powdersville (near Greenville) Dallas Distilleries in Texas of course, would be a good stop off. david
You're welcome to come out to the tip of Cape Cod and check out our new operation. We started making Rum in July 2013. Nothing on the shelf, but barrel samples and spiced rum bench trials are available. South Hollow Spirits in North Truro MA. Let me know if you make it this far east. boognish
We have a pretty interesting setup, definitely not an out of the box, turnkey operation. All done relatively inexpensively compared to what I have seen. We are in upstate NY, kinda far from NYC, but I would be willing to host you. PM me if you are interested! HedgeBird
We are in Lancaster, PA, so an easy trip from Philly, Baltimore, DC or New York. Just got our first two batches in the bottle this past week. Definitely starting on a tight budget with a self build 150 gallon still. Would be happy to host as well.. https://www.facebook.com/ThistleFinchDistillery
