sailorman9
Is there a standard in this industry of shipping to other states? I'm thinking of building into the pallet price, the cost of shipping to the outlying states to keep the cost relatively stable throughout the country. Does any one have experience with this? Are there any other factors relating to this?

Jedd Haas
Typically, the distributor pays for shipping. You quote your wholesale price "FOB [your location]". Also, state excise taxes vary widely, as do the amount of markup required either by law, by custom, (in that state) or by control state regulations. So the reality is that prices will vary from state to state.
