Naked Spirits Distillery
I am using their rum yeast. I like it. I have used D022, D497 and D143 in trials. I like the esthers from D022 the best very tropical, but I was getting an odd favor. Best I can explain is almost the taste sweet and low on the back of the tongue. I have not used it for large production, only small test runs. Very easy group to work with.

John Bassett
Does anyone know what happened to Whitestar? I met the president and he spent considerable time helping me with fermentation issues. I had been a loyal customer of them, but now it appears they are out of business.

prcdc
used the moonshine yeast (10kg box) and we loved it. Not sure about other products. Are you sure they are out of business??

Matt Eau Claire
I have used quite a lot of their yeast, and the esters are prominent and good. The yeast is somewhat finicky. I really like the American Rum yeast. The owner is very passionate and cool. I suspect since they are small that service is tough etc. I have been trying to get technical info on their stuff to best care for the little yeasties, but I still think they have a legit product.
