Bartletts Distillery
I need one used whiskey barrel for "Whiskey stored one minute in reused cooperage". No joke...that's what the TTB had me put on the label of my White Dog Whiskey. I need a barrel that I can put the spirit in, then dump it out. I'm located near Houston, Texas. Humulus
Adventures in Homebrewing (homebrewing.org) has 10gal used barrels for $150. Balcones...since you're in Texas should have some?
indyspirits
The BAM states: Quote Whisky produced at not exceeding 80% alcohol by volume (160 proof) from a fermented mash of not less than 80 percent corn and if stored in oak containers stored at not more than 62.5% alcohol by volume (125 proof) in used or uncharred new oak containers and not subjected in any manner to treatment with charred wood I would simply build a white oak "container" in the form of a box of a known volume and pour the corn whiskey into it, at a known flow rate, allowing it to overflow after aging for one minute. bluefish_dist
I have a couple once used 15's. One had a coffee and chocolate Porter, the other a corn whiskey.

CalwiseSpirits
Have you tried resubmitting your COLA? Some specialists are a huge pain in the ass and just make up rules so if you resubmit you'll get assigned to a new one that you may have better luck with. If you haven't done this already it would be much cheaper and easier than hunting down a barrel and putting your booze in it for a minute.
