Beast
My apologies I just accidently posted this question in the "Equipment" section. I was wondering where people are cutting off their tails (proof or ABV) for whiskey? And the same question for vodka? Thanks, beast

And the same question for vodka? Thanks, beast For vodka on our final distillation we cut to tails at around 2% drop, you can notice a difference in the taste at this point. Whiskey around the also. For beer stripping we cut to tails at around 35%. All tails are gathered and when we have enough for a full kettle we run them once then. Hope that helps.
