Rogue Ales & Spirits has an opening for a Master Distiller in Newport, OR. Rogue is a small revolution, which expresses itself through handcrafted Ales, porters, Stouts, Lagers, Soda, Cider and Spirits. The essence of the Rogue brand, even the name, suggests doing things differently, a desire and a willingness to change the status quo. Rogue Spirits distills World Class Whiskeys, Gins, Rums, and Vodka, often using ingredients grown at Rogue Farms. We utilize a 500 & 150 gallon still as well as a 23 foot vodka column. Our Master Distiller will distill a variety of spirits, manage production, packaging, barrel aging, blending, and other operations of the distillery. They will manage 1-2 employees. There’s the added benefit of having a nano system to create new recipes. We’re looking for someone who has at least 4 years’ experience distilling a variety of spirits, managing production, managing others, and other relevant experience based on the job outlined above. This position is located in Newport, OR. We do what we do to become a meaningful leader through the products we create and by building an organization that is successful without being big, bureaucratic, or common.
