Old Trestle was founded in Truckee CA by friends with a real passion for great experiences and a belief that the world's best spirit has yet to be made. Our founding team has extensive backgrounds growing global companies and beverage brands and we are looking for a teammate to lead our distillery operations. As Head Distiller, you’ll oversee and manage day-to-day production activities, lead the company in sensory tasting, experimentation, barrel management and blending, and ensure safe, clean, efficient distillery operations. You’ll lead our team from planning and raw ingredient procurement through to bottling/barreling of finished spirits. Old Trestle Distillery, located by Lake Tahoe in beautiful Truckee, California, is searching for a Head Distiller or Master Distiller. This is an exciting tourist location with skiing, mountain biking, climbing, and is a base-camp for a big life. We're an up-and-coming artisan distillery with a focus on Whiskey & Gin - important to us is experimentation and creating craft spirits which will be spectacular and cutting edge. Traditional styles will also be required and your knowledge and experience of creating those will be essential. Our company is well capitalized and is currently designing a renown food & beverage offering overlooking a world-class riverfront property.
