  1. Located in Brooklyn, NY. Used 3 bbl stainless steel conical fermenter. 15 PSI, non jacketed. Comes with agitator. $1500 OBO.
  2. Distill x5 Question:

    How are you naming your barrels? Like the numbering system? Not the Lot id or batch name or anything, but the barrel itself? If you make two barrels of the exact same stuff in one go, how do you differentiate between the two? 

    I ask you because you're the only one mentioning anything about Distill x5 on this forum, and I've exhausted my search capabilities on their help section.

  3. That forklift barrel sling you posted about, how do you attach it to the forks of the forklift? Does the kit come with mounting options? Or is it just the sling?  (the thread you posted it on kind of became a grab-o-matic commercial, that's why I came direct)

  4. Manual is not available online without registration, I figured I would just ask here first. Thanks!!! I will go look harder, and now that I know it's possible, that is great.
  5. So what do you attach to the pump to pull the whiskey from the barrel? Do you just drop a hose and hope you get all the liquid? or do you have a "wand" of sorts? If so, where do you filter the char out? I'm trying to upgrade my boss's system, it's not the most user friendly. He has a plastic pipe attached to a triclamp hose barb with a bit of mesh wired to the end. It's not perfect but it has worked okay enough.
  6. Does anyone know how to switch the display from ABV % to proof? Our secondhand unit does not have the manual. Math is tougher when tasting....
