  1. Are you still using this technique, Roger?
  2. From my understanding, grain-on mashes should not be pushed through tube-in-shell coolers with inside diameters smaller than 1-1/2". Anything smaller is likely to plug. It's a matter of choosing the correct piece of equipment for the job.
  3. Am interested in tube-in-tube heat exchangers at a great price, hit me up Paul. I've got a 400-gallon (working capacity) mash tun and need a tube-in-shell for on-grain mashing. We've spoken before.
  4. We just doubled our capacity and now have a 1,000 L stainless steel stripping still for sale. Asking $8,000 paid double that. Need it gone. Located near Parksville, on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. We also have a very affordable mashing unit made from a converted 400-gallon dairy chiller that turns out 800L washes like nothing. $1,000 takes it. Works great and no stuck mashes.
  5. Vancouver Island distiller here. Purtrak (dot com) is used by a lot of BC distilleries and many are now asking to be released from their contracts (!) with US suppliers in order to get something more suited to the Canadian CRA regime. I am looking into it myself.
