Millstone Spirits Group is an independent craft spirits organization based in Philadelphia, PA. We operate multiple brand labels including the Kinsey, Faber & New Liberty product lines. Our facilities are in Philadelphia, Trumbauersville and Quakertown, PA. We are the American Distilling Institutes 2022 Distillery of the Year and one of the largest craft distilleries in the region.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a member of the New Liberty Distillery Production team, you will be responsible in assisting our Head Distiller and production staff with daily production functions in the still house, bottling room, barrel house(s), and packaging required to meet daily and weekly production goals.
Maintain Proficiency in bottling room, still house, and inventory control.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Assist with loading raw materials and finished goods on and off trucks
Set up hoses, fittings, and clamps for production and cleaning operations.
Assist with the performance of production operations, CIP processes, and sanitation procedures established in training.
Perform basic maintenance task on pumps, valves, tanks, and processing equipment.

Work week is based on a 40-hour schedule. Due to production needs, incidental overtime may be required.
Ability to work daily shift between 8-4, 9-5, or 10-6 M-F
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum education of a High School diploma or GED.
Undergraduate Education preferred in Food Science or Engineering
2-3 Years of Food and Beverage industry experience.
1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
Alcoholic drink, distilled spirits, brewing or winemaking preferred.
Leader/collaborator. Someone who is willing to accept responsibility, lead a team and be a part of a team. Supervisory experience is highly desired, but willingness to lead team is necessary.
Must have capable computer skills proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of ERPs/CRM is a bonus. Must be willing to learn and develop competencies.
Experience operating machinery; forklift, pallet jacks, and pump systems.
Operate with minimal supervision.
But will ask questions for clarity on processes.
Utilize critical thinking skills daily.
Physical Requirements: Candidate should be able to lift 50lbs from ground level and be able to roll 500lbs cask of whiskey twenty yards. Capable of standing for extended periods of time and able to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl to maintain equipment.
Alcohol Responsibility: Candidate must fully understand that they are always a representative of New Liberty Distillery and The Millstone Spirits Group on and off campus. They are to always conduct themselves within the limits of the law and with concern to the education of responsible consumption. This includes working hours, trade shows, festivals and while entertaining in the name of the company or its affiliates. Any poor reflection or legal matters that may arise due to poor judgement may be delt with by means of disciplinary action up to and including termination.
