aspiring_distiller

Hello everyone, my story seems to be the same as many who come here. I have been home-brewing and have also been playing with infusions (legally) for some time now. It has been a great experience and I have learned a lot. But alas I am very fond of whiskey. I have been reading everything I can find on distillation processes and methods and have had a great time doing it. I'm a long way from starting my own distillery, as long and arduous as the process will be, but that is the dream. I look forward to learning from everyone here and furthering my knowledge. Ideally I would like to complete a few real courses in distilling, aging, etc. and to find a job as an apprentice somewhere to get some real experience in making spirits. In any case I'm happy to be here and can't wait to learn from the people who have already succeeded.
