  1. for whisky production from barley , any recomendation for a filter able to process 3000L of mash that is the size of my mash tank
  2. do you know the average of ABV coming out, the Leopold Bros they don't give to much information about it.
  3. hey, any suggestion for a program to control the still it has pressure, thermocouples sensors , flow control, pumps thanks.
  4. Hey, any information about 3-chamber still, I have been reading about it, but is not information on internet, I would like to know how much abv you could get from that, how is the profiles of temperatures and pressure inside of the vessels. thanks if someone knows about it.
  5. hey someone here knows what is the size of milling for the grain is allow for Headframe still, I know they have the option of use the wash with grain or without of grain but what is the size of grain of they allow in the still. thanks
  6. for the rectification column in a continuous still which structured pack is better 350y or 450y material SS304 thanks
  7. hey mate thanks, this apply for continuous still or just in pot still?
  8. hey everyone I just want to listen some point of view about whisky production, in the whisky production you should pump ferment with the grain in the still or with my mash tank with double bottom like filter, just adding water after my mashing and sparging water to get highest yield, I'm saying the option with the grain because someone tell me some places in United States dump everything inside of the still to get the oil and better profile of flavour, I'm wondering how they do it, if they have all the solids and that staff inside of a coffee still.
  9. hey mate, which version is that one of you got, because I was checking in their page and last one of they have in Autocad in their page had a bypass of you told me.
  10. hey mate thanks you so much for your information and help to me so much, so yes I'm trying to design my continuous still and I'm investigating and working in that, yes I have been reading about that still and it has a calandria inside of dymethalizer to do that process, I have one question more, do you recon his C1 its a big calandria and that its the secret of they got that product, are 14 sieve trays with a pipe in the middle which work as big calandra to pull down the condensate, pushing up the ethanol, or its just 14 sieve trays as normal stripping column. and the real work its just done by dymethalizer.
  11. hey slickFloss, I haven't quote and I don't have that one I'm just designing mine but investigating HF, I understood, they just have one small pipe connected to c4 could you explain to me for what is that pipe of 1/2 inch I would say and why gin doesn't going through in the dymethalizer?, in which part of the process they get out the methanol, thanks mate have a good day
  12. Hey everyone, someone here know how works the process of gin in continuous still, its neccesary it goes in dymethalizer or not ?
  13. Hi everybody, I'm working in a rectification column and I would like to know if its safe at the bottom of my column to keep the boiling point of ethanol installed an electrical element or install a flange heater feeding this with steam, I'm asking because I consider the electrical element could increase the fire point of the ethanol steam taking into account I'm moving just steam of ethanol and ill get some condensate at the bottom, if someone has good answer about safe ill be so thankful have a good day.
  14. Hey everybody, I have been reading about continuos still columns, and I was thinking if someone here have tried to put steam directly to the bottom of the column, how this can affect my ABV% ,pressure and everything of you have to take into account, anyway the secret of the columns is keep the temperature (78,5) and the flows if someone has any idea relation with the advantages or disadvantages let me know ill be so thankful.
  15. I like visit different distilleries and I have been in some who has the CF-1000 micro still from Headframe and have a question about that micro still, why the gin process doesn't go inside of the dymethalizer or last column I saw a small pipe but they just condensate the gin after gin basquets in which moment they cut the heads thanks.
