I have been googling and can't seem to find what I am looking for. After drilling into the side of a whiskey barrel to get a sample, I have seen distilleries hammer in a small wooden stake/plug to fill in the driil hole. What are those stakes called? Recommendations on where to purchase? Cheers!

Wait, do people just buy a GS1 company prefix then use a free barcode generating software for the UPC & SCC-14 barcodes?

What do you all use to generate your UPC and SCC_14 barcodes? It seems like GS1 is the gold standard, but expensive. I am doing a good amount of single barrel offerings and I think I need a barcode for each one???

Thanks so much for the reply! Unfortunately, we are NOT using DISTILL x 5 or anything like that. Just a spreadsheet at the moment. Using a label printer makes the most sense. Do you have a label template with the required information that I can modify for my distillery?

I'm starting to get my box designed (case of 6 bottles ) for my distillery and realized that I need to print a label to be affixed to the box with the below information.
