  1. I second Paulson Supply. Good Product, Good People.
  2. you may want to have the water you're diluting with analysed, sometimes high iron or calcium content can create a haze.
  3. I've used carbon sheets (not carbac brand exactly) with much sucess, primarly with vodka production. I still use carbon granules as prebottling treatment then use the carbon sheets as a final polishing and filtering to the bottling line. I have yet to talk to somebody that knows the recommended volume of spirits 1 sheet will treat or what the pore size (ie. microns) they're rated at, Anyone...anyone?
  4. I know in the wine world there's wineries using a lees filter which helps seperate all the heavy sediment (yeast, etc.) from freshly fermented wine. Its usually used to minimize loss from the first racking but i have no idea how it would work with a grain based wash.....
  5. Graham from flag hill winery and distillery in NH. I got this letter last week and sent him three shirts just to show how "world class" we are... just kiddin'. interesting scam though, i'd love to hear if anyone did send a shirt and what weird marketing list they ended up on....
