Thanks for having the opportunity to learn from true craftsman. I am a commercial pilot and build race cars in my spare time.
Every fall I take a race break and try to learn something new. This year I want to learn copper fabrication with a purpose.
A buddy of mine is going down the Micro-Brewery path and is finding it more challenging than he has time to take care of. He is a very successful home brewer and he mentioned a fuel permit. My race car burns Methanol and I am familiar with Ethanol also.
I am thinking the fuel permit will allow me to stay on the right side of the law as I learn to fabricate some copper stills. Does anyone have any experience with the fuel permit or is the experimental alcohol production the way to go ?
