  1. We got a TAL-3100T brand new from the factory last year and ended up moving to fully a automatic bottling system and we didnt use this machine.  Same machine listed here https://www.propacksolutions.com/take-a-label-tal-3100t-tamp-label-applicator.html and here https://www.take-a-label.com/tamp-label-applicator

These tamp applicators are used on non-round bottles (square, rectangle, etc.)

    Price- $3,000

  2. We scooped up a 3" double diaphragm pump and a rotary screw air conpressor the other day so we are making the switch.  Up for sale is our Waukesha 200 Sanitary SS Positive Displacement Pump with 3.75" inlet/outlet.  All stainless steel construction.

$950 for it.  Freight will be $150-250 depending on your location.  Brand new they run over $10,000

    We're in Maryland.

  3. That particular unit is not suitable for high proof alcohol. It is not just the casing that matters, but all of the wetted parts. Generally, I use the fluoropolymer based units for plastic at high proof.

Yeah I have a special one for the transfer of high proofs, I was just going to use this to pump mash around so nothing really higher than 10% ABV. Do you think this would be okay for that.

  4. Anyone have any experience with the Polypropylene Double Diaphragm Pumps. They seem to be able to handle temps up to 212°F and mixtures that are acidic like mash. They are quite are 300% cheaper than the Stainless Steel ones so it would be nice to use these. Just not sure if they are okay for thick grain in mashes.
