  1. Anton Paar is sold. Here's what we have left. Make us an offer. Fire sale time. 650 Gallon Pot Still This is a 650 gallon stainless steel still from Raff Still Works. It has a copper coil inside and copper Lyne arm to provide the copper you need for distilling. The condenser has 61 stainless steel tubes in it and was fabricated that the path is entirely stainless steel with no failure points or gaskets until the outlet which is a 1 1/2″ sanitary fitting. This still has served me well over the past 7 years and is in perfect condition. It also has a 12″ Sanitary fitting on the bottom for quick clean out of botanicals or grain. Just push a large container under it and release. It was designed so a cut in half IBC tote can slide in or a grape bin for harvesting grapes. Also has a 2″ Sanitary Butterfly valve as well to drain just liquid. Has a 17″ x 22″ manway in the front AND a 17″ x 22″ Manway on top for filling or cleaning. On the front it has a 4″ sight window for viewing during distillation. Also has a pneumatic agitator. Also has a sight window in back, well style, for putting in an outside light to illuminate the pot during distillation for better viewing. Steam Heated – 130″ Tall x 5′ Wide Not Including Condenser, Pressure Relief Valve, Pressure Gauge and Digital Temp Read Out Unit for Pot, Vapor and Cooling Water. Comes with parrots beak and will hold a standard large hydrometer. And a large heat tolerant drain hose, so it can be drained while still hot. You can pick it up or I will load it onto a truck for shipment, but I will not crate or pack it as I am not equipped for that, but if you would like to hire a crating or packing company to secure it for transport then I can load it onto a truck that you schedule. I can also offer training on setting up and using for an additional fee. I will travel anywhere for that, but you will need to cover all travel costs and $500 per day for training. Training will not take more than a day. Any parts that could be damaged or break are off the shelf parts available almost anywhere. We have a bunch of extra gaskets for all parts of this still, such as the large manway gaskets, but we’ve never needed to change a single one in 7 years. Best Offer. 220 Gallon Pot Still Hybrid with 3 Plate Column This is a 220 gallon stainless steel still from Raff Still Works. It has a copper coil inside and copper Lyne arm to provide the copper you need for distilling. It was jacketed with wood as an homage to the old Absinthe Stills in the 1800s. The column is remove able. Just push a large container under it and release. Also has a 2″ Sanitary Butterfly valve as well to drain just liquid. It has 3 bubble plates and we ran it without the bubble caps, but you can put them in a for a slight refinement of the product. Has a 17″ manway in the front, an 8″ mini manway above that for visual while filling and a 6″ sanitary cap on top for filling and/or monitoring during filling. On the front it has a 4″ sight window for viewing during distillation. Also has a pneumatic agitator. Has ports in back for CIP on the 3 plates in the column. ABE LinCan 30 Canning Line Raff Distillerie is a premier craft distillery, the first ever in San Francisco. We are now closing due to COVID and are selling off the equipment. Lincan 30, 30 Cans per minute, upgradeable from ABE to 60 cans per minute, can also be upgraded by ABE for slim cans as well. Right now it’s setup for 12oz. regular ball cans and 16oz. regular ball cans. Comes with all the manuals and great tech support from ABE. I can go train on this as well for $500 per day and all travel expenses or ABE can too. Attached is the brochure. We bought this in 2021 and the company before us only had it a little while, but they bought it from ABE and ABE has just done a complete refurbishment. This machine runs great and the service and tech support team are great as well. Can provide more pics if necessary as our place was packed with stuff when I took the original pics. . You can pick it up or I will load it onto a truck for shipment, but I will not crate or pack it as I am not equipped for that, but if you would like to hire a crating or packing company to secure it for transport then I can load it onto a truck that you schedule. It may be able to be shipped as is and just strapped to the inside of the truck. I’ll leave that decision up to you. carter.raff@gmail.com the old email attached to this account is dead.

  10. I will post if we go that route. We should know in the next couple weeks.
  11. Serious inquiries please. Inquire about price and what not if you're interested. Full working distillery with lots of stock and numerous well known brands. Complete distillery meaning everything done in house. Full modern digital lab, automated canning line, automated bottling line, Large stills, large mixing tanks, tasting room, etc...
  12. Hi, simple. Once you have your rinsing method in place, use water, then take 10 bottles, fill with your product, shake it vigorously and then recheck proof and adjust accordingly and you should be good for that product.
  13. Lots to say here. First off no one should be using a Pressure Relief Valve made for a water heater. They make ones specifically for this purpose. Not to mention made with materials that, 1. Won't taint your product and 2. Are hot alcohol tolerant. As far as through put you'll have to engineer that. Also they should be plumbed to go into a barrel fill with water thereby knocking down the steam and making the alcohol inert to flammability. They PRV and pressure gauge should be checked regularly. I use an air hose with an air gun with a rubber tip and set the PSI to only 2 or 3 psi. For the PRV set the PSI to what the blow off point it. NEVER fill a still with compressed air to test ANYTHING. If you need to check for leaks or any test of that sort use water. Water is not compressible, air is. On my PSI gauge I have a big circular sign I made that says this should never read anything but zero! Just for posterity a still should never be filled more than 75% full and maybe less so based on the shape of the pot. If you're distilling on mash, such as corn, that corn can block the lyne arm and that can leak to an explosion.
  14. All true what you all said. Sad to see home built with no safety devices. You at least need a pressure gauge front and center to avoid explosion. Making a still explode is not that easy so I'm very curious of what went wrong. Plugged Lyne arm I would expect.
  15. LOL No worries. I miss stuff all the time. Wish I could help. This stuff is useless to me too.
  16. Happens more than people like to admit. Absolutely like playing Russian Roulette with 6 cartridges in the chamber. When I'm distilling I don't even go to the bathroom unless someone else is there or else I leave the bathroom door open. I know distillers who would start the still and then go out making sales all day long. Utterly stupid. It gives us all a bad name and in the end they'll just make more regulations for us to follow because of a few bad apples. I still love the people who don't do any research and don't go work for someone else to see what's required as far as skill level. Then they get their DSP, come on here and then ask, "can I use a garden hose from Home Depot to transfer high proof?".
  17. Nope, but I'm curious as well. I hope it's not another, "Oh we let the still run unattended for 6 hours while we went to take a nap".
  18. Ok how much are you looking for and where are you located, zip code, commercial location?, forklift or loading dock?
  19. Yes I do. Do you have any type of liquor license or distillery permit?
  20. What's reasonable to you? I do all my own work so I searched for a chiller that was affordable, but not expensive, but reliable. I went with Chill King. $35K or so delivered, $7000 for electrical install (most of which was the copper wire to handle 200 amp 150 feet from the breaker panel.) If you can operate a hammer drill then install is easy. The compressor need to run in the correct directly and if you're not handy and know electrical that part might cost more. Everything else out there was way more expensive. Oh, mine is a 30 ton chiller.
