yves
All, I was wondering if any of you know where there might be scheduled workshops in Scotland this remaining year. I have an opportunity to be in Europe for several weeks and if it were possible to attend a workshop during that time, it would really be appealing. So, if any of you know of links or specific distilleries I could contact, please let me know. If I have enough time, i think I'll probably will try to find a workshop in the Cognac or Armagnac region of France as well. yves

JohnD
I'd check with Hariot Wat or the Scotch Whisky Research Institute: http://www.undergraduate.hw.ac.uk/courses/view/C980/ http://www.swri.co.uk/ ...why don't we have one of those?!
yves
Try looking into the Bruichladdich Whisky Academy at their distillery in Islay. I DID!, was very happy about your lead and waited patiently for an answer. The nice lady in charge of the Academy course enquiries told me that they no longer offer this opportunity due to production ramp up at Bruichladdich, it was very disappointing to hear that. She did send me a few leads for me to search out, which I intend to do. Thanks, for answering me BWFiggins, I just wish I had asked a year ago. yves, near future distiller.
